PSYCHOLOGIST

Linnette is currently finalising her training as a Provisional Psychologist and is approaching her full registration at Connect Psychology. Linnette has a background of volunteering with underprivileged children in her home of Cambodia, and in youth focused mental health organisations here in Australia.

Linnette works with children and adolescents to help develop life skills, emotional regulation, social skills, impulse control, and growth mindset. She is passionate about supporting her clients who are experiencing life challenges. She has a warm, empathic and optimistic approach, providing a safe space for clients to achieve their goals, focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients and  their families.

Linnette has a range of skills and interests  in art, music, and outdoor activities. She enjoys helping  young people by building creative arts, board games, play and outdoor activities into therapy. Linnette works collaboratively with parents, schools, and other providers in order to provide a comprehensive approach to care and capacity building.

Linnette is part of the In School Intervention team and regularly provides support to her clients in their natural social environment of school. She also undertakes assessments as part of the Assessment Team.

For NDIS clients – Linnette Chhuun’s services can be provided to Self Managed, Plan Managed and Agency Managed NDIS participants as a provider engaged by Jenni Pearce.
