Psychologist 

Melanie is a Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working with children. Melanie brings a warm, positive approach to her work with children focusing on emotional regulation, anxiety, and social skills development. She is passionate about helping her clients to develop their awareness and learn new skills by tapping into their interests and making the content relevant for them. Melanie works with teenagers and young people with intellectual deficits and other developmental delays, together with their families and carers, focusing on developing their life skills and relationships, including assessments of everyday functioning. Melanie’s particular areas of interest and experience include:

  • Anxiety and OCD
  • Emotional regulation difficulties
  • Challenging behaviours
  • Self-concept and confidence
  • Sibling relationships
  • Learning disorders or difficulties
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Tourette’s Syndrome
  • ADHD
  • Social relationships including bullying
  • Building social skills, including social group programs
  • Parental support
  • Family dysfunction

Melanie also undertakes assessments as part of the Assessment Team. As well, she is part of the In-School Intervention team and regularly provides support to her clients in their natural social environment of the school. Melanie is a registered Secret Agent Society provider, and regularly runs the Secret Agent Society small group program.

For NDIS clients – Melanie Bradley’s services can be provided to Self Managed, Plan Managed and Agency Managed NDIS participants as a provider engaged by Jenni Pearce.
