Annemarie is a Clinical Psychologist and a Registered Nurse. She has many years of experience and has previously worked in the area of Shared Care in adult mental health for both Country and Outback Health (rural SA) and GP Partners,  both not for profit providers. She currently lectures and gives tutorials to international students at the University of Adelaide College.

Her rich career in the human services sector includes previous tutoring of students at the University of Adelaide in both the psychology and business schools prior to working as an academic and personal counsellor to international students at the University of Adelaide College.

These valuable work experiences have enhanced her current Psychology practice, providing her with a depth of compassion and understanding as well as equipping her with a pragmatic and strengths-based approach towards clinical work, particularly   to her work with teenagers and young adults moving through life stages.

She is passionate about psychology and the belief that growth is possible, creativity is important, and that connections and acceptance are essential to psychological wellbeing.

She has a great interest in neuroplasticity and how it shapes behaviour change. She has a special interest in anxiety and stress related issues across the lifespan.

Annemarie sees children, adolescents, young adults and families experiencing a range of personal and emotional challenges including:

  • anxiety and stress

  • developmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • neurological issues including tic disorders
