Psychologist ( Provisional)

Michelle has had a career working for many years as a teacher and counsellor in schools, colleges, and community support centres. To enrich her career and further develop her knowledge and skills in Psychology, she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Swinburne University, Melbourne.

She is now currently undertaking a 2-year Psychology Board of Australia program as a Provisional Psychologist, mentored by Jenni Pearce and other members of the Connect Psychology team. 

Michelle loves working with children, teenagers and parents. She is warm, friendly, and engaging. She is a committed and thoughtful practitioner who brings maturity and experience to the role. Michelle has a very deep and personal understanding of the challenges of parenting a child with a disability.

She is passionate about working collaboratively with families and schools, helping to provide a positive future for young people and  assisting parents on their parenting journey.  

As well as her work with parents, Michelle enjoys working with children and teenagers with a range of challenges and focusing on their strengths:

  • Challenging behaviours at both home and  school

  • Neurodiversity

Michelle recognises the need for flexibility in delivering services, and  offers  office, school, home based and telehealth services options.

For NDIS clients – Michelle’s  services can be provided to Self Managed, Plan Managed and Agency Managed NDIS participants as a provider engaged by Jenni Pearce.
